We finance investments of small and medium-sized enterprises. We have been doing so for more than 45 years, with consistently positive group earnings. Our business success is based on the guiding principle of diversification - in terms of properties, sectors, countries and refinancing. With our business model, we operate in a niche market. Worldwide, however, and therefore in a very large niche.

With well over 680,000 lessees of all levels of creditworthiness, our contract portfolio represents a cross-section of small and medium-sized enterprises - in more than 30 countries with hundreds of different leasing objects worldwide - across over 20 sectors.

An example: Around 25 million small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are registered in Europe. Every second SME already uses leasing, that is about 12.5 million enterprises. We know from our own estimates, that our market share in this segment in our well-developed core markets is about 10%. If we manage to achieve these 10% in the other European markets as well, we would effectively double our customer base from today's 680,000 to around 1.2 million.

We operate across all sectors and are independent of manufacturers. We master small-ticket leasing. To this end, we use our own scoring procedure based on our broad database for precise analysis and risk-compliant decision-making before concluding leasing contracts. More and more SMEs are discovering leasing as a form of financing and enjoying its advantages such as liquidity protection, fast availability, calculable monthly installments and excellent services.

We want to continue to grow and build on a long tradition of growth. Before the pandemic, we grew at double-digit rates every year. With the end of the pandemic, we have resumed this growth journey in leasing new business since the financial year 2022. In addition, there is growth potential from the expansion of our business with existing customers, the strengthening of our sales structures and the further development of our future markets, especially in North America. Also offering new object categories will contribute to even more companies finding suitable lease offers. Who would have thought ten years ago, eBike leasing would be a thing? eBikes contribute already more than EUR 100m in leasing new business.

Our business model can be applied worldwide and is fully scalable. Standardisation and digitalisation enable a disproportionately low-cost development.
