Personnel Development
The ongoing training of our employees is important for our corporate success. Consequently, we offer numerous opportunities, such as our in-house GRENKE Talent Lab. Through a wide range of training opportunities tailored to individual needs, we enable continuous qualification and personal development.
Health Management
The health of our employees is very important to us. That's why we sustainably promote their well-being, for example through ergonomic workplaces or regular voluntary medical health checkups. These measures are supplemented by fitness programmes and nutritional advice services on the "GRENKEmachtfit" health platform. Country units also provide similar offers, for example health seminars and "Cycle to Work" programs in the UK or cooperations with gyms in Poland and Portugal.
Apprenticeships and University Degrees
At GRENKE, we aim to offer best possible learning conditions, enabling an individual and needs-oriented development of our trainees and students. Their deployment in various departments promotes their understanding of everyday working life at GRENKE. For our commitment to training management, we were ranked in the "Best Trainers in Germany" category for the fourth time in a row in 2021 as part of the study of the same name by the business magazine Capital.

Working Time Models & Remuneration
Through flexible working time models and attractive remuneration, we create the basis for a good work-life balance. GRENKE's remuneration consists of a fixed salary and performance-based components. At regular intervals, we reflect the voices of our employees, for example through a satisfaction survey.
Support in Special Life Situations
With the "Support in Special Life Situations" program, GRENKE supports employees in challenging life phases in which private matters must take precedence over business matters. This gives employees the opportunity to reduce their working hours to 80 percent for up to two months while continuing to receive full pay.

In the region around our headquarters in Baden-Baden, we act as key sponsor of the football youth academy "KSC GRENKE aKAdemie" in Karlsruhe, providing holistic development opportunities for young footballers. Also, we are strong supporters of the regional chess scene and are sponsor of not only one of the most successful chess clubs in Germany, but also of two internationally renowned chess tournaments, the GRENKE Chess Classic and the GRENKE Chess Open.
